Advantages of Stretching Before Surgery on the Functionality of the Shoulder after the Surgery in Patients Undergoing Mastectomy

Objective: To analyse the effects of stretching muscles shoulder before surgery on functionality after mastectomy Study design: An analytical cross-sectional study Place and Duration: This was conducted at Bibi Asifa Bhutto Dental College SMBB Medical University CMC Teaching Hospital Larkana from January 2022 to June 2022. Methodology: All patients included in had mastectomy. The participants were randomized control groups treatment groups. group gone through static with a range motion. did not undergo any preoperatively given standard postoperative care. Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS), Groningen Activity Restriction (GARS), Universal Goniometer (UG) used for collection data first third days. analyzed IBM SPSS version 26. Results: A total 20 study. Overall10 allocated 10 group. mean age 47±11.86 years. significant difference functionality, motion, pain, scores daily activities seen (p<0.05)compared (p>0.05).
